During the occupation, the russian military lived in the library, which disfigured the already not-so-new premises. However, the library is now unrecognizable: thanks to caring people and volunteers, it is being transformed from a Soviet library into a modern space for children and adults.

A librarian - a person - an orchestra?
"A librarian is both a reader and a listener, and an animator and photographer, a gardener and a decorator, and a healer of human souls...", I read a post on the library's Facebook page. And is it necessary to be all of the above and flaunt it? Is a man-orchestra really an effective worker?
