Ukraine is no longer a colony, but it is still at the stage of discussion and the formation of a comprehensive approach to the preservation of its cultural and artistic heritage, historical and written sources. In discussions about how best to do this, libraries are often overlooked as important platforms for research and promotion of digitized heritage. Let's consider the experience of the British Library - a leader in this field and the historical antipode of Ukraine.
