From now on, the "Library Country" charitable foundation is a partner of the Ukrainian-Swiss project "Acting for Health", with the support of which we are launching a new unique project "Health care and disease prevention through libraries and literature".
In 2021, the "Library Country" and People's Deputy of Ukraine Yevgenia Kravchuk launched a joint campaign "New page" to fill the libraries of small communities with new books. At present, about 50% of the book collections of Ukrainian libraries are outdated books from the Soviet period, therefore prompt and high-quality stocking of public libraries with new books is one of the main tasks of library reform today.
The Library Country Charitable Foundation is creating a Green Library educational space at the Shumsk Public Library in the Ternopil region. The new space in the library will combine an updated demonstration area and an educational program on environmental protection for children and their parents.
